Have you ever questioned why? Why is it so important for you to make people believe that you are fine, that in this extravagant life of yours nothing can go wrong.

There might be days where you’re dying on the inside but that “smile on your face” shouldn’t be gone. Do everything to make people believe that you have a great life. Tell them everything’s just perfect.

I understand that the more weak you show yourself to be, the more chance you have of people walking all over you. But have you ever asked yourself, who are these people ?

Do you really think their own lives are as perfect as they seem to be?

If yes, then why do I see the same people sharing self help pages and posts? Because they want to help? Rubbish, because accept it or not everyone in this world fights a battle inside. Some cope with it, some fake it and most of them avoid it. Why? Because accepting that you are not not healthy mentally, is such a big deal. It is such a big deal to talk about how you feel and what you go through each day putting that smile on your face? Fearing that you are confident enough to talk about it rather than people who have chosen not to, but to sit back, comment rather than helping?

I just want to convey that everyone has a story that makes them what they become. In the process you can get hurt, injured when sometimes it might not even be your fault. But what we need to accept is that it is okay. At the end of the day nothing is impossible and everyone is in this together. Talk about how you feel, what you feel, what you go through. Make tomorrow a day where you’re not just surviving but actually living! Don’t let the stigma and people’s comments over power you and most importantly don’t let your illness eat you. Because what we need is help, not comments.

If you are facing issues, if you have a disorder, accept it, and treat it. It’s your life at the end. People come, say things and go but it’s “you” who has to choose wisely what you want. World, wake up.
